Well, we lost our fall page, and we never did end up writing about sager and Gavain and the kids’ winter adventure to Florida. So between Equinox and Beltane here’s our springtime update.
Around Equinox the kids decided to shave their heads |

The picture below was taken on the way to complete our springtime gift to the land and community – a labyrinth. Beth got to tromp around throughout February looking for the perfect spot, and then the whole family (as well as other LV kids) helped clear the space of brambles and lay the labyrinth. |
The kids show off their new haircuts in the sunshine. |
We bring the first gifts to the altar in the center of the labyrinth. |
|
The next day, beth and Marty shaved their heads, too.
A week or so later, some of us walked up to the labyrinth with a bunch of folks from the community and shared a beautiful moment of walking circles full of love.
Another person in our community spearheaded an Easter celebration, with homemade dyes for the eggs and homemade willow baskets. After searching for eggs, all the kids made a bug tray of deviled eggs to share with the community.

All natural handmade willow baskets with tasty treats inside. |
It's hard to get the shells off of truly fresh eggs. |

We’ve got a lot to look forward to – Beltane celebrations, beth starting school in the summer, summer break and maybe a Montessori camp here at LV for the kids, sager and Gavain living on faith. If we haven’t heard from you in a while, drop us a line.
